Department of Music (DM) is the former Department of Music Education, founded on August 1st, 1998. 

When the DM became affiliated with the College of Humanities on August 1st, 2006, it renamed as the

Department of Music.  Through music essence training, the DM aims to cultivate students’ capacity in

performance, education and administrative management, and therefore they can become competent

and happy music professionals.
